The Lutheran School of Theology in Aarhus offers a 3 ½ year Danish theological bachelor programme. Since 2013, University of South Africa (Unisa) has approved this BA programme in Theology to be a qualification for the Honours programmes in Theology at Unisa. The LSTA programme is delivered and assessed in Danish. On the successful completion of the BA General programme, the student will take a one year specialized Honours course at Unisa (distance learning). All instruction seeks to equip the students with the knowledge and skills required for serving the Church in different ministries after graduation. An obligatory trainee period is part of the BA programme and the BA student is encouraged to engage him/herself into various church-related tasks.
